Born the son of British and Mongolian nobility, the Mandarin squandered every penny of his fiefdom's money turning himself into the perfect scientist and perfect martial artist. Penniless, he was evicted by the government. He blamed his fate on the peasants of his fiefdom and on the government rather than on his own vain obsession with becoming perfect in mind and body. He vowed to crush the weak peasants of the world and abolish the governments that coddled them, becoming the villain known as The Mandarin.
